A dance party was a great way to introduce the bus to our friends.
Disco balls and strings of light:
The "dance team luncheon" (Jacque, Tamara, Ellyn, and April) danced for a couple hours before anyone else felt as though they had had enough to drink:
April breaking it down for everyone in her butterfly jeans:
The party eventually picked up as people loosened up and more arrived. The merrymaking went on into the wee morning hours. What a lovely night.

Genesis
When we officially decided that we wanted a bus, Andy and Chase drove to Twin Falls, Idaho to scope out a potential. Well this bus was more than a potential, it was ours. It ran great, but needed a lot of interior work. After helping move a thrift store out of the bus, Andy and Chase stayed the night in Twin Falls. They drove it home the next day, with virtually no problems, taking turns driving.
Once they got it into Elko, we spent that first day sweeping out the bus, taking off the window covering, and picking up our friends and taking them for a ride.
By the time we ended our ride, we had about ten passengers and two pups. We parked our small party at Elly and Cyrus' house (where the bus still resides) and planned a bus extravaganza for later that night.
